Welcome to the Epilepsy Council Of West Michigan

We are an independent non-profit organization founded in 2003 by people with epilepsy for those affected by epilepsy as well as their family and friends.

We are dedicated to overcoming the inaccurate stereotypes that people with this disorder often face, as well as providing the best available information for living well with epilepsy.

We seek to both develop and sponsor programs and materials to present the truth about epilepsy, what it is and what it is not, what a seizure may look like, what to do if you or someone you know has a seizure, and ways to live successfully with epilepsy.

The Epilepsy Council will come to your office or home and speak to your group on living with epilepsy or recognizing it at the work place in your employees or your customers.  We have gladly done this for the RAPID, Wal-Mart, Sam's Club and other groups.

ECWM invites you to attend our monthly support groups. Click here for current information regarding locations and times.

The Epilepsy Council is a 501c3 non-profit institution. All donations are tax-deductible.
